Day 1
Depart south from Addis Ababa to Dinsho, where the Bale Mountains National Park headquarters is located. On the way you will stop at Ziway to admire the wonderful birdlife on the shores of this lake. Overnight in Dinsho (camping or in basic lodge).

Day 2
Depart from Dinsho through the Web Valley toward Finch Abera waterfall. Overnight camping at the Sodota Campsite.

Day 3
Depart from Sodota, following the Wasema River through the valley. Continue to the Worgona Campsite. After setting up camp, take a short trip to the Worgona Mineral Springs for a visit. Overnight camping at Worgona Campsite.

Day 4
Early morning, depart from Worgona Campsite to Garba Guracha. On the way you will climb Mt. Batu, at 4203 meters. Continue to the campsite in the Tegona Valley, close to Garba Guracha Lake.

Day 5
Early morning departure to the Sanetti Plateau and the Crane Lakes. The Sanetti Plateau is home to the Ethiopian Wolf, endemic to Ethiopia. You may also climb Tullu Deemtu, the highest point in the Bale Mountains at 4377m. At the end of the day you will be met by your vehicle and continue to Goba for overnight at your Hotel.

Day 6
In the morning, depart from Goba for the Sof Omar caves. The most famous spot of the caves is the Chamber of Columns, with limestone pillars up to 20m high. From the entrance, you will follow a 1.7km trail through several other chambers; this will take about 1 hour, and you will pass the Web River, which snakes through the cave, seven times. The birdlife in the area is very abundant. After the visit, proceed to Lake Langano for overnight at Bishangari Lodge/Sabana Beach Resort/Wenney Ecolodge/Abule Bassumo Hotel.For overnight (camping or lodge).

Day 7
After a refreshing morning swim in Lake Langano, drive back to Addis Ababa. On the way, you may visit the Abiajta-Shala National Park. Lake Shala, with its deep blue waters is the deepest lake in Ethiopia at 236m. Lake Abiatta is a soda lake at which thousands of flamingos can be seen at various times of the year.
In the evening there will be a fare well dinner party at one of the famous Ethiopian Traditional Restaurant with folkloric dancers of different ethnic groups. Then transfer to the airport where the tour ends.

10 days Bale Mountains National Park Trekking

Day 1: Arrival Addis Ababa
Up on arrival at Bole international airport and met by your travel representative and transfer to hotel. After check in to hotel, city tour of Addis; includes National Museum, Entoto palace (the first palace in Addis established by Emperor Menelik II in 1883), Trinity Cathedral that is unique for both Ethiopia and Africa for its European architecture, Ethnographic Museum and Merkato (the largest open air market in Africa). Overnight in your hotel

Day 2: Addis-Ethiopian Rift Valley – Dinsho
After breakfast drive through Ethiopian Great Rift Valley en-route enjoying the beautiful Rift Valley Lakes and the spectacular mountain scenery. The rest of the day, walk around the Juniper forest around the park headquarter and explore the area where high concentration of the Bale Mountains Nayal, Minilik Bush Buck and other mammals are found. Overnight camping

Day3: Dinsho - Geysay Valley – Dinsho
Trekking time: 5-6 hrs. Trek to Geysay Valley, to the northerly extension of the park. Here, while trekking in the indigenous forest, it's possible to spot the endemic Minilik Bush Buck and Mountain Nyala and other mammals including the endemic Ethiopian Wolf. Overnight camping

Day 4: Dinsho – Weib Valleys-Fincha Abera
Trekking time: ~6 hrs. Trek and pass through the stunning Weib Valley and the finally reach at the beautiful waterfall of Fincha Abera. Overnight camping

Day 5: Fincha ábera-Merero-Wasmea
Trekking time: 8 hrs. Trek beneath the peaks of Merero; see and taste the strange mineral springs before making the steep ascent out of the head of the valley onto the Sanette Plateau. Overnight camping

Day 6: Wasama Valley - Batu - Garba Guracha
Trekking time: 9 hrs. Climb Batu (4203 m), and then trek on across the arms of the Batu horseshoe, to camp beside lovely Garba Guracha Lake-set beneath towering cliffs in the head of the Tegona Valley. Overnight camping

Day 7: Garba Guracha - Sanetti Plateau- Goba
We trek for 5 hrs to the highest peak in the Bale Mountains, Tullu Deemtu (4377m, 14357ft) which is part of the Sanetti Plateau. The vistas are simply unbelievable and so photogenic. Here you will find small alpine lakes and typical afro-alpine vegetation that includes the Giant Lobelia and shrubs such as 'Everlasting'. Vistas reach out to the strange pinnacles of Chorchora Peak and across the sheer-sided Tegona River Gorge. There are views to the steep-sided volcanic plug of Konteh Tullu and the long, craggy ridges of Mount Batu. The car will meet us here and drive us down to Goba town and overnight in hotel/lodge

Day 8: Goba- Harena
Morninig, drive to Harena. The Harenna Forest is one of the few remaining natural forests in the country. The Harenna Forest is known for its mammals, amphibians and birds, including many endemic species. The Harenna Forest was once habitat to packs of the endangered Painted Hunting Dog, Lycaon pictus. Overnight in your hotel/lodge

Day 9: Harena- Langano
Morning, drive to Langano. Lake Langano is one the rift valley lakes in Ethiopia and safe to swim with a maximum depth of 46 meters. After check in to hotel relax on the lake side beach and visit the other rift valley lake park of Abjata and Shala with a maximum depth of 250 meters, this makes it the deepest lake in Ethiopia and in Africa north of the equator and has an elevation of 1,567 meters. Overnight in your hotel/lodge

Day 10: Langano- Addis- Departure
After breakfast drive back to Addis, on the way visit the rift valley Lake of Ziway with its diverse species of aquatic birds like greet pelican, Marabou stork, hammer cop and different kind of goose, Evening farewell traditional dinner in one of the best restaurant in Addis followed by folkloric dance of different Ethiopian nations. Then transfer in to airport to fly back home, where your tour ends.
